On September 5, 2012, shareholders approved payment of a one-time dividend at the Logitech Annual General Meeting. Consequently, Logitech is paying a one-time dividend distributed out of capital contribution reserves that is not subject to Swiss withholding tax for any of our shareholders. By when do I need to be a shareholder in order to receive the dividend?
The ex-dividend date (the first trading day without the right to receive the dividend payment) is Thursday, September 13, 2012. In order to be eligible to receive the Logitech one-time dividend payment in September 2012, you must purchase Logitech shares by the end of the official trading day on September 12, 2012.
How will I receive my cash dividend?
If you are a registered shareholder in Switzerland, dividend funds associated with your ownership of Logitech shares will be transferred electronically to the bank account where your shares are held. For stock certificate holders, the dividend payment will be delivered electronically to the bank account you designate. If you are a registered shareholder in the United States, you will receive a check to the address of record on file with Computershare. If you hold the stock in Street Name in the US (that is, you hold the stock through an institution such as a broker/dealer), dividend funds associated with your ownership of Logitech shares will be transferred electronically to the account where you hold the stock.
