Sally Davis, Robert Malcolm to Be Proposed to Shareholders at June Annual General Meeting
FREMONT, Calif. & ROMANEL-SUR-MORGES, Switzerland, May 07, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Logitech International (SWX:LOGN) (Nasdaq:LOGI) today announced that its board of directors will ask shareholders to approve the election of two new board members at the company's annual general meeting in Lausanne, Switzerland on June 20, 2007. Proposed for three-year terms are Sally Davis, chief portfolio officer of BT Group PLC and Robert Malcolm, president of global marketing, sales and innovation with Diageo PLC.
At the meeting, Logitech shareholders will also be asked to re-elect three members of the board for three-year terms: Monika Ribar, chief executive officer of the Panalpina Group, Guerrino De Luca, Logitech president and chief executive officer and Daniel Borel, chairman. Shin'ichi Okamoto is retiring from the board after a three-year term. If all nominees are elected, the size of Logitech's Board of Directors will increase from eight members to nine members.
